Windows Is Freezing

    Im not sure why but, out of nowhere, windows will sometimes lockup. The mouse will not respond and the sound will loop. Nothing i do will get the system out of the lock and the only thing to do is to restart the computer. I checked the event viewer and nothing shows up relevant to the freeze. I have no idea what is causing this.

    My temperature for the CPU is around 42 degrees and rises up to about 65 while playng a computer game.

    First of all cleanup all the garbage from temp folder(s) & run chkdsk /r on all partitions on hard disk to eliminate any hard disk problem.

    I have moved you HJT log to the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum, as the experts that check out HJT logs are more likely to spot it there.

    That does seem rather hot... but it depends: what CPU are we talking about here?

    The processor is an Intel 3.0 Ghz with HT
