windows 2000 shutdown problemx

    windows 2000 shutdown problemx:(



    Iv looked all over usenet,and various fixes, still cannot solve this windows 2000 shutdown problem

    It stalls,freezes, eveantually just reboots, after i have to force shut, restart

    WONT SHUT DOWN

    More detail please.

    Does it do this when you are trying to shut down or just when it feels the urge?

    Have you turned off the "reboot after a stop error" so you can get a nice BSOD that has information?

    Anything interesting in your event logs?

    Try and get the Windows Updates...Microsoft is pretty good about having updates and patches to correct problems..especially of that nature
