    My first computer:

It is infected with a win32:trojen-generic and has disabled my internet connection. I have tried re-installing my wireless connection with no luck, it has been hi jacked i guess.
it says the TWCU.exe can't operate or something like that during start up.
the trojen/worm is athcfgllres.dll. it moves around from location to location. like from C:\windows\sytem32 to C;\docume~1\hppavi...

I have avast 4.8 professional and have scaned and removed it many times, but with no luck.

I cannot connect to the internet to download the Hijack this tools

    what should I do?
will wiping or erasing my drives the only option I have?

the same win32 trojen-generic worm is also in my second computer but hasn't hijacked the internet ...yet. I have run a log from hijack this. I will wait working on the second computer unless you think it will help.

    thanks for your help
