win xp professional

    My daughter wants xp off her computer and win98se put on. With xp not being a dos based os when I format and start to reinstal will the dos based win98 work with using the boot dist, fdisk, and partioning that I have read about?:confused:

    In order to reinstall, you will have to run FDISK and repartition, unless you didn't convert your file system to NTFS. If you still have it FAT or FAT32, you can just format.
