My machine has XP/Pro on one drive & Win 7 Ultimate on another.
Can anybody tell me of a way to migrate my applications from the xp drive to the Win 7 drive without doing a reinstall since all of them have been updated since they were installed the first time?

When an application is installed it not only puts files in it's own folder in Programs, but also many files deep in the bowels of Windows including Registry entries.

Migrating an app from one OS to another is not possible AFAIK - re-installation in the new OS is the way to go and be sure to check that the XP apps are compatible with 7.
