Just got a Dell laptop which is wireless enabled. Lots of places round here offering wifi access, airport, coffee shops etc. Question is: What do I have to do to access their internet connection please?

    Hi Susan,

    Welcome to windows BBS :D

You have all you need except configuration details. Your best bet is to ask the staff at the airport / cafe etc for assistance.

The first thing I would do is get rid of the Dell Wireless Manager and let Windows do it.
If you have issues it would be easier for us to help you that way.

Also, simply trying to log into 'any' site on the Internet will bring up the sign-in page with additional details. Some will be free, for others you may need a (paid) account.
