Who's Dialing Without me ?

I suddenly have some program dialing while I'm away from the computer. I have not installed any new programs lately so am stumped. It will even come out of standby to dial. I tried taskmanager to see which program was dialing but nothing showed. Is there a way to find out which program is dialing ? Thanks in advance.

I did--I love that program. It said "congratulations you have no spybots ".

Yes, I'm suspicious that it is my firewall because that's the most recent change I've made. I use Tiny. Just checked and had 2 options marked that could have caused it to dial. Unchecked those and will wait and see. Thanks so much for the help.

 

Do you perhaps have some program set up to automatically check for updates? That would cause what you're experiencing.

 

The Tiny firewall was set to check for updates. I didn't realize it.
