    THE MSIEXEC. FILE LINKED TO MISSING EXPORT MSI.DLL.:222 CANNOT LAUNCH C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MSLEXEC.EXE A DEVICE ATTACHED TO THE SYSTEM IS NOT FUNCTIONING. WINDOWS WAS INSTALLED WITH MY PUTER SO I CANNOT UNISTALL AND REINSTALL. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME PLEASE THANK YOU PS MY GATOR ? KEEPS POPPING UP

    thank you very much for the help i uninstalled kazza then used adaware and spybot to clean up spyware. but i dont understand when should i not use caps? all the time or only when i am downloading. the gator is gone now will i be able to download in misiecec. agian ty

    I'm jumping in here to pick up where others left off...

    I think you are missing the file MSI.DLL -- if so, go to this site
    http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msi
    and download to replace the one in your C/Windows/System.

    With the downloaded msiexec.exe replacing the one in yhour C/Windows/System folder, I believe you should be able to download

    By the way, if you have no Windows Install CD, they may have placed the CD contents in some folder on your Windows Explorer. Look for a large size folder containing .cab files.
    You can use this folder as you would use the CD.

    Finally, the reference to capital letters is one of etiquette for e/mail and forums, etc. It is considered as shouting when all words are capped... Casual use of caps is alright, as you see I have done above.
