W95.CIH.Remnants Virus

My Son Downloaded A game from The Official Promotion wars Site Now I scanned it before I installed said all ok no Virus then when I installed it a pop up from norton said It found the W95.CIH.Remnants.Virus and repaired it.

What I want to know is do I have this virus still or did norton pick it up and fix it (said it repaired it)will it send to others,,,Also should I let him play that game or uninstall it get rid of it LOL
Any help will be good I am doing a virus scan as I type this to be sure.
Not familure with what norton does if its gets rid of it completly or will it still send out HELP

Do I need to download this tool if norton picked it up said it repaired it and I get rid of that game LOL
The site also says it doesnt affect windows nt/2000 I have Xp and tried that Kill tool and it wont work using there instruction I tried it .When the virus alert came up it said it repaired it maybe its gone but I want to be 100% sure .....

 

If it said it was successful, I'd think it to be true? If a subsequent scan at Housecall comes up clean, you should be good to go.
