My sisterlaw either has the virus or the E mail is being sent to me through her hotmail with the above mentioned virus on it. Now I have sent her the patch on how to get rid of the virus if she has it on her computer she is using mcafee virus protector and think she said it might have run out am not sure but she now has it back but she really doesn`t know much about computers and haven`t really got all the answers I need yet from her she lives about 3000 miles away so am doing all this by phone to try and help her.
Anyway am not familiar with mCafee but can you get updates from teh internet for this virus protector I presume you can that would be the first thing she should do.
But how can we get these E mails stopped being sent I must get two or three a day from her. Should she close out her hotmail addresses and her account or once she is rid of the virus will it stop. I have a virus protector and they do not get downloaded butam sure some of her friends probably don`t.
    Thanks for help in advance

Do this for you and get them to her:

Download and run the below ASAP

    Special Virus cleaners

These are the Delta force for only the newest and most prolific virus’s today. For a quick clean then if they find and clean anything do a full deep scan with a full-fledged scanner.

Use these if it is possible your regular scanner may have been disabled by a virus.

    Stinger http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

    PQremove http://www.webmasterfree.com/software/2911.html

Then both of you do an online scan at 1 or more of these:

    Hi Maryelle
    Here's the Yaha Fixtool.

I use AVG for my virus scanner. It's free.
