Wondering why my machine is taking forever between tasks since upgrading to Windows 2000 professional from Windos ME.
Everything you try to do is very very very slow..one time I had only my background and a pointer...it never refreashed back to the Icon page....Any suggestion? I greatly appreciate your time.

    What are your computer specs?

Do you have a service pack loaded?

Video drivers are a likely suspect for this sort of behavior. Make sure you have the latest 2K version loaded. Also, try booting up in [VGA mode] and see if your speed problems clear up. If they do, it is almost certainly the vid drivers.
