w2k shutdown

    everything works except computer when "shutdown ", restarts.
    i can shutdown by pushing button when screen goes blank...this does work....but?

    Look at HOW TO: Troubleshoot Shutdown Problems in Windows 2000 and I think after you've read thru this one, you'll probably want to use the link to one or more of the articles near the bottom.

    242495 Troubleshooting Advanced Power Management in Windows 2000 for sure and maybe some of the others depending on what hardware and software you are running.
