Volume Missint MS Keyboard

I have installed and uninstalled several times to fix the visible volume control for the ergo 4000 keyboard. I checked to make sure the driver and software were gone and even deleted a couple entries from the registry. When I last reinstalled 6.2 intllitype, the mute I can see, but not the up or down volume. The other thing is that the favorites I set before are still there so something did not uninstall.

 

You say you are unistalling the software, are you going to Add or Remove Programs to do the uninstall (or running an uninstall from the Start -> All Programs -> Intellitype(?) listing)?

Try booting into Safe Mode and running the uninstall there.

The uninstall is not available on the start menu. I'm uninstalling from the add remove. I'll try again from the safe mode next time.

 

There is no way to uninstall from safe mode. I am fairly well capable of brainstorming. I'm hoping to find someone that just knows the answer to this problem. I have seen it posted before.
