Vml?

I have received a couple emails that when I open them they say... "To display this page correctly you need to download and install......Vector Graphic rendering (VML).

I have a graphic chipset and I don't need any conflicts!!!
I'm a little gun shy because I tried to install a graphics card that my computer did not support and everything went haywire and had to use my recovery CD to fix everything, which took me most of two days to update and reinstall.

Anyone ever had a problem with this VML?

Vector Graphics Rendering can be installed at the Windows Update site, it is listed under Recommended Updates. It is not a video driver update or video driver install, it is for the Internet Explorer.
It is entirely your choice to install or not, as it is not a Critical Update, so it comes down to how bad you want to see those emails.
I am guessing you are using Outlook Express, you could go to toolbar at Tools\Options, click on the Read tab and put a checkmark on "Read all messages in plain text ", and you may be able to read what is on them, though some of it may appear to be gibberish.
