    Vista SP1, 32/64 bit system.

First - anyone got this loaded up? Comments?

I read the release notes and didn't see a lot of gain for the average
user (but what do i know :) ) except maybe the mention of the audio
changes. No idea what the changes in audio are myself. Maybe someone
    could explain changes for audio....

Second - There are several versions of SP2 (I've got home premium)
but since i have a 32/64 bit system along with a "Program Files" folder and
a "Program Files X86" folder. So does this mean I need to install both versions
    of SP2?

    thanks,
    savagcl

Well, SP2 hasn't been fully released yet, so I'd wait a bit longer ;)

    You don't have a 32/64 system. It's either/or.

Look in Control Panel\System and Security\System and check the line System type: It'll say if you have 32 or 64 bit OS.

Then that's the only one you need.

As for SP2, it hasn't been finalized yet, although it is close.

    OK, Thanks folks!

Under "System" it says 64 bit.

Guess I'll just keep watching for a release. Durn sure don't
want a beta or RC1 either.

    thanks again,
    savagcl
