    Hi,

I am having HP laptop. Yesterday while it was running some program, the blue screen came up and is there now. I shut down and restarted the laptop but it is not going. Even took the battery off and restarted it, the issue is still there. There is nothing I can do. Only if I press CTRL+ALT+DEL and go to task manager, i see no application running and around 6 processes running. In the task manager, there is a 'Desktop' option and there i can see all the desktop items.

Please help how can i get the control of laptop back.

    REgards,
    Amit

    Hi Guys,

I wanted to share that i tried restoring the laptop[press f11 while rebooting and choosing the options from the screen] to some restore point 5 days ago and it worked. I am able to see the desktop and everything. Thanks everyone for their concern.

    Regards,
    Amit
