Clear your Temporary Internet Files. See if that helps.

    Source

Actually there are two methods for viewing source on a web page.
    1. click on i.e. Internet Explorer top button View
      File View Favorites

Drop down menu drop down to Source and click.
This opens the web page up in Notepad to view in limited form.
    2. right click anywhere on the web page except on a graphic..:)

Drop to View Source and click, this opens the page up same as it does above.

Now mind you, IF the web master has decided he does NOT like people looking at his/her code, then they may have disconnected this in their web code.
    3. The way around that is to Click on File
      Drop down to Save As
Then save it to your hard disk under whatever name you want to see how the coding was done....
    Have fun...

    source

    Thanks Kevin and JerryM
When I posed the question I could not read the source by either of the methods mentioned by JerryM, and they included my own pages.

After some time and clearing the temp internet files I was able to view source again.

I think I also turned off the computer.

JerryM, I liked youe tip for checking source code that is hidden
    Thanks again
    Lewis
