I recently formatted my computer. Now whenever I play video files, they look slightly pixelated, and when i view them fullscreen my computer can't really take it and the framerate drops down really low. Anny suggestions on fixing this and making it play smoothly?

Did you install the lastest drivers for your video card?

I have to be sure we are both talking about the same drivers

, and everything worked fine before the format

This is why I ask about Motherboard drivers. They are not the same as Video drivers and should be installed before same.

In fact they should be installed before anything else after a clean install.

They need to come from the MB maker and match the Chipset that is on the MB.

They are referred to as Motherboard drivers but they are actually in the Windows folders and get destoryed on a format.

And may be destroyed even on an overtop re-install.
