Video Editing Software

Could anyone suggest easy but decent Video Editing Software? I have a few home videos I'd like to try to get on the computer. Thanks!

At http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ has a list of editing software and how they rated them. Just to put a movie together you can use Windows XP movie maker. If you plan on making a DVD out of it to play on a DVD player you will need some other program to convert it into a DVD format. I have used dvdSanta http://www.dvdsanta.com/index.html to do that . It a $30.00 program. If I am going to do a lot of editing I use a older version of StudioPlus. You will also need some way to get the video into your computer. If you have a digital camera it may have Firewire or USB cable to make the connection. They make a capture card you can install in your computer and also ones that hook up to a USB port.

 

Thanks, I'll look into those suggestions. I haven't figured out how long my memory card on my digital/8mm camera will take but I'm getting there.
