My version conflict manager is not working. Everything else on the puter is working ok. I ran sfc and it didn't find anything wrong. When I clik on the manager I get this error message:
    Error starting program
Setupapi.dll is linked to missing export cfgmgr32.dll: cm_get_log_conf_priority.
I ran "find files" and it found one setupapi.dll file, and 2 cfgmgr32.dll files. Is this something that I need? I don't know much about these things. Is there any way to fix it? (I didn't get any Win98 cd rom with my puter,so I hope I don't need that to fix it ) Thanks in advance..........Win98se

    There are two possibilities.
    I have "cfgmgr32.dll" only in Windows\System directory.
It may be a problem by having two occurences of that file.
In what directories are they located?
On a top of it "cfgmgr32.dll" may be corrupted anyway, but let's start with a first option.

Rename that one in Windows directory from "cfgmgr32.dll" to "cfgmgr32.old ", and try to run version conflict manager again.
Also right click on "cfgmgr32.dll" in Windows\System directory, click Properties, and post here what version it is.

I'm glad, it worked. Thanks for posting back.
If everything works OK on your computer for next couple of days, just dump that "cfgmgr32.old" file from Windows directory.
