    The article here http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,1274644,00.asp

Besides using the Hosts file, if you have a Firewall that is capable of IP blocking, block IP address 64.94.110.11

    Internap Network Services PNAP-05-2000 (NET-64-94-0-0-1)
    64.94.0.0 - 64.95.255.255
    VeriSign/Network Solutions PNAP-LAX-VERISI-RM-13 (NET-64-94-110-0-1)
    64.94.110.0 - 64.94.110.255

    Regards - Charles

I've gotton 8 hits on the VerSign IP 64.94.110.11 since Monday of last week.

Since then I also added two more IP's: 216.52.17.226 and 12.158.80.10

Anyone using the Firewall to block the redirect recieve any hits?

    Regards - Charles

    Charles,

Set up Kerio to block 64.94.110.11 and 12.158.80.10 following the first thread on this - no 'hits' to date.

    Thanks for those links.

I'd have to say that letter was very direct, to the point, and impossible to mis-understand. Good stuff.

While this appears to be a dead issue, I have discovered a different redirect due to mistyped or dead URL's. It took a quick eye and patience to find the ultimate culprit.
