Hi, I've just upgraded a lot of hardware in my computer, the list is as follows:

    Asus a8n-sli premium mobo
AMD athalon 64 3500+ cpu and fan
    XFX geforce 6800 gfx card
    HP 16x DVD/RW
    2 X OCZ 512mb ddr400 RAM

The problem is when i got all the parts installed and fired up the computer, it started up ok, then started to load up xp, then it crashed and restarted, then it said that since it hadn't managed to load up correctly in then i got the option to start in safe mode, but when i selected safe mode it loaded up all the drivers? until it stopped an said "press esc to cancel loading vax347.sys ", upon pressing escape, it restarts the computer. I have since found out that this is an alcohol 120% driver file, but as i can't even get into safe mode, i was wondering if ther was any way to get around this problem, can't even get into regedit to remove said files. From what I've seen from other message boards, alcohol 120% does seem to be a bit unstable, with lots of driver problems.
