after I plugged in my clickfree the usb port located in front burned out. the rest of the ports are fine. there are two cables attached and one says extra power, connect both cables if you need additional power. Without realizing i must have plugged in the one that states extra power but the instructions did not state which one to use. Not an absolutely necessity but is there any way of restoring power to the port?

Somehow I wouldn't expect so, it's probably burnt out at the motherboard.

Why don't you get a self-powered USB Hub and run it from the back connectors? That will supply 4 or more sufficiently powered ports

    Matt.
