USB configuration prob?

    Soltek board, USB devices work except microsoft sidewinder FFB usb joystick. Have removed drivers with device manager in safe mode, and performed the usual one device at a time checks.
    Have via USB on Soltek board.

    Sidewinder FFb stick Shown in windows as there and OK, but fails to function.

    Suspect I have to remove all traces of drivers and reinstall them -what registry entries might i have to look for, if this is necessary.
    Note! only the stick is not working, usb mouse and camera fine. (stick checkeed out as ok on another pc)

    512 ram, Windows 98Me, soltek SL75 KAV mainboard, Geeforce 2.

    Any suggestions really appreciated.
