    HI All,
i would like to upgrade my motherboard from my Abit SG-71 to an ABit VI7 (links below). it looks like the memory (Pc2100 @ 266mhz) is compatible, but i'm worried about the processor. right now i have a P4 2.4 ghz 533fsb with no Hyper_threading. can i use this processor if it is not Hyper-threading but the board is HT ready (i'm confused).

    VI7

    SG-71

    thanks
    Brad

I think that is a question to ask Abit. Their site allows you to e-mail their tech support. They should be able to give you the definitive answer.
