    I have an ASUS motherboard and a Pentium III 870. Is it possible to upgrade from Pentium III to Pentium IV duel core?

    Nope.

    Odds are if you look up the specs on the mobo you might maybe be able to go to 1gig...but it wouldn't be worth the trouble.
