   I am getting prompted to repeat the same update. The update history shows it has been installed successfully a number of times but it just wants to do it again.
   
   The update is "Security Update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 (KB954430) "
   
   How do I fix this?

   Hi boutells. Since the update has been offered multiple times and its already been installed try just right clicking the update and selecting hide. That will make it so that Windows Update won't offer that update again.
