Update? (DSL connection)

    When I installed XP on my PC, (had ME before), about a month later my Internet connection got an update. It changed from SBC connection manager to DSL connection managed by what seemed was XP. I accidently deleted the DSL connection, and now its the same old version. I installed it again. Now, I want to update it, but no message pops up concerning about it. Anyone know how to get it back?
