Unknown publisher box

    when trying to access a favorite game site a yellow line comes up to download active x when i do this another box comes up that says windows has blocked this software unknown publisher

    the only option is ok

    how do i disable this

    mindprey1 - Welcome to the Board :)In Internet Explorer - Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > Internet - Custom button and scroll down to ActiveX controls and plugins and check the appropriate boxes and under Downloads check that they are allowed.

    The ActiveX is probably unsigned - the settings above may make your PC less secure so bear this in mind and revert the settings ASAP.
