I just updated my windows xp professional. Afterwards my logon screen had been changed to the 'classic' view instead of my preferred welcome screen. When I tried to change it, it said 'NetWare for clients' is preventing you from changing. Please uninstall it to change'. I located it in the services folder in administrator tools. But I can't get rid of it. Can anyone help me?

EoinMelvin - Is this at home or work? If it is at home, did you get this PC from an environment that came from a business? It may be a left-over from the business. What do you mean that you updated XP pro?

If this at work, would you have the permissions to change this setting? If it is at home and you have administrative privs, go into your local area connections and see if Netware is listed. If so, and you do not need these services, uncheck the box next to it and try it again

    Hope this helps
