Unable to uninstall McAfee

Hi guys,
I've tried uninstalling Mcafee, but can't. I uninstalled the virus scan & siteadvisor first & then tried to uninstall McAfee security centre, however, I'm unable to. I've also tried to uninstall in safe mode. The uninstall method I've tried is through the "Add/Remove programs" option. Is there another way to uninstall it?

Try this. Re-install only the McAfee virus-scanner, reboot, and then remove it. Reboot again and then try to uninstall the McAfee Security Center from the Control Panel. This has worked for me when I had the same problem.

Alternatively, download McAfee's clean-up tool, which sometimes works.
