Just curious, can you use two anti virus programs on your computer at the same time? I use Nortin security and Avg 60 free version. Both on the computer now but only use one at a time.
Can two anti virus programs live on the same computer at the same time?
    Thanks

They will almost certainly conflict in some way - you may get away with it, but it is not to be recommended.

I currently only use ETrust but in the past I've had as many as three installed at one time (just checking them out). At one time, I had Etrust and Norton both installed for at least a couple years and never had a problem of any sort. Of course, I only allowed one to run in the background. I'm sure there'd be some sort of conflict if they were both allowed to run at startup. I had Etrust running all the time and when I'd download something I'd scan it with both. Used the right click>scan with norton antivirus function. Never a problem.

I'm 100% satisfied with it. I've been using it for years now and it hasn't let me down yet. Norton was good too but it taxed my system way to much when autoprotect was running. When I use Etrust's real time protection (the equivalent of Norton autoprotect) I don't even know it's running. Real easy on the system. At least it is on mine.

    I could be wrong but I don't think you'll be sorry. ;)
