I really need help with this one. I created an Image and verified it. TI reported it had been successful. I can see this on my external drive, but now that I want to restore the Image (due to a problem with Avira) I find that the CD used to create it doesn't recognize the Image so that I can restore it.
As far as TI is concerned it doesn't exist. I only use the CD to back up and restore. I have uninstalled TI from my computer as I never do anything from within Windows.

    What can be wrong?

After you made the image did you then create the Bootable Rescue Media from which you boot to restore an image?

BTW - I use Acronis 11 entirely through Windows - as it is designed to be used and have my image incrementally updated automatically on a scheduled weekly basis. Works a treat :)

Pete - The Image I was trying to restore was created with the CD and not done from Windows. I just can't image why the CD doesn't see it on the external HD.

My comment was based on the fact that I do not have an install CD - online purchase - and created a bootable Restore CD as instructed. The Recovery process is unchanged.

Does Windows Explorer show the image file on the external?

BTW- you should conclude your other thread with Broni first before attempting to restore the image which will also contain the possible infection noted.

I am away for a week now and will pick up on this on my return.

I created the Image using the CD which runs the program. I can see the Image file using Explorer. However, the CD does not see it. Very Strange. This has never happened before using the same procedure.
