    Hi ,

A collegue of mine removed one program manually from the Add remove option in control panel.
But now he is unable to remember which program he removed. Can somebody please tell me how can I trace back as to which program was removed. It was some program which might had come with windows itself and not a third party program.

Though my windows is not giving me any problems till now , but I just wanna be sure and reinstall it if necessary.

    Thanks and regards

    Hello zulias,

Can somebody please tell me how can I trace back as to which program was removed.
The only way I can think of doing that is to use System Restore to restore back to just prior to the removal.

So compare the present Add/Remove with the restored one. Then when you find out what it is, undo the restore, that will get you back to the present.

To help you do that, take a "picture" of the two:
ctrl + print screen keys which will create the image in the clipboard, then paste it to Wordpad or Word.

    Regards - Charles
