Resolved Toshiba Storage Device Quit

    I have a Toshiba 750gb Storage device that just quit powering up. I know the cable is okay because I can use it on another device. It would be a disaster if I can't get my files off of it. If it won't power up, can the files be recovered by the pros?

    It's an external device such as a passport drive.

    Does the drive show up in Disk Management when you connect it to a Windows computer?

    Even though these storage drives are not expensive, I sure would like to recover the media that on this one. I have over 500 full-length movies stored.
