Simple and stupid question. My kid hit some combination of keys and my toolbar is now displayed as a column on the left. How do I get it back on the bottom. Sorry guys. I'll have a more challenging question later.

    Thanks

    Louis

Click on it with the left mouse button and while holding the button down, drag it back down to the taskbar.

I got to thinking about this and it can be kind of tricky. You have to grab it at the top where the dotted lines are to be able to drag it.

It may be easier to just close it. Right click on a blank spot on it and choose close toolbar. Then, right click on the taskbar and choose toolbars>quicklaunch. That should put it back also although you may have to rearange the icons to get them where they were before in the toolbar. To do this, right click on the taskbar and choose unlock the taskbar (if it isn't already). Then just drag them where you want them. Then go back and lock the taskbar again.

Same way. This is easier than the quick launch though. Left click on a blank spot on it and drag it back down. It sounds like your's is locked though. So, you first have to right click on it and choose unlock the taskbar. Then drag it down, then lock it again.
