    When I try to run Webeasy through Windows 98 it keeps telling me windows cannot locate my Timer.DLL file. I know it is supposed to have one so what do I do? Can I download it from somewhere? If I reinstall Windows 98 I'm scared I'll erase everything. Help!

    Hi gresham
    Welcome to the boards. Just out of curiosity, and for elimination purposes, use a free online scanner such as:

    Housecall
    Panda
    Symantec
    Grisoft

    Post back and tell us how you make out.

    There are a number of "timer.dll" files that exist. One of them is from a virus, and you should follow the advice given.

    If no evidence of a virus appears, do a search on your computer for the file. If you find it, try registering it:
    Start--> Run--> regsvr32 <path to file>

    If you don't find the file, then reinstall WebEasy.

    If you find the file and it is in a Webeasy program folder, try copying it to your C:\Windows\system folder (assuming your hard-drive is C) and registering it:
    Start--> Run--> regsvr32 C:\Windows\System\timer.dll
    (assuming, again, that C is your Hard Drive).
