Look around in the Options folder to see what subfolder has your setup cab files. It may be Options\Cabs. When the update asks for that file, send it to that folder.

    EDIT---
I take that back. I just searched an ME CD and that file is not on it.

Do a search of your hard drive for the file and also for viaudio.sy* to see what you find. Chances are that that driver file is there somewhere and all you have to do is direct the update to that location to fetch it.

What does it say you have for a sound card in Device Manager?
