When drawing a text box in Publisher, I get a border I don't want. Then I must go to Borders and request None. Want to draw text box with no border.

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

I've never used Publisher...but I'd guess there is an option to chose a "default" border and the border option might allow None as an option.

Which version of Publisher? In 2007 the default is 'none' and any border settings can be set as default - screenshot.
