A client of mine is brain storming and wants to run thin clients over a hardware VPN back to a server in another location.
All of the clients documents, and E Mail will reside on the server.
Im thinking he will rapidly run out of bandwith.

    Any ideas?

when considering this type of setup, you'll want to run with Citrix Metaframe. I would not consider anything else. It allows you to scale down the bandwidth used and scale out the solution as your requirements grow. It scales down the bandwidth by compressing the data. It scales out by "farming" your servers. Basically what that means is you will publish your applications to your users and the servers will load balance the user load.
