    Hello,
I've tried everything I can think of to create a task to wake my computer
to record programs via media center.
All I get is this response in the attachment??
I don't have pass words to use and all the uac permissions are set to function.
I don't know w hat "policy restrictions" might mean? win home has NO policy maker , what ever it's called!! Doesn't UAC control that?
    Thanks for help/suggestions.
    John in Dallas.
    System: win 7 home 64bit

Since the error message specifically mentions Blank Password - I would add a password to the user profile.

Exactly as Steve said & the error clearly states: Your account needs to be setup with a password, otherwise the task won't run.
