Resolved Tab Bar Settings Question

    I have Internat Explorer 8 up and running on my computer and I am wondering after I go to my homepage which then displays as a tab in the tab bar right by favorites, can I somehow adjust the settings to make the new tab square be not visible or is it always displayed there?

    Hi erichcs. Having the new tab square displayed in Internet Explorer 8 is by design. To my knowledge there is no way to remove it. If you don't like tabs you can turn them off from Tools< Internet Options< under Tabs click Settings< Uncheck enable tabbed browsing and click ok when done. Restart Internet Explorer 8 for the changes to take effect.
