Hi. This is my first post here. I've got a "yellow triangle with an exclamation point" popping up in the system tray which I cannot identify. It also makes the sound that you get when the computer finds new hardware. If I click on it, it just disappears. I tried ctrl alt delete and looked for what it could be, but can't figure it out. It always happens when I've got a bunch of apps open. It happens about once every day. Any ideas on how to ID this thing?

Newt, you're a genius !!! There it was right smack on that log.
Said source is userenv. I'm afraid I'll have to go track down what userenv is....but thank's very much, I should have thought of that and didn't.

I'm not clear on this yet. I had a subsequent "icon library" failure of Reget Deluxe which I was leaving in the system tray due to trial being up and it counting down from 32 everytime it was open...and had to uninstall it. Haven't recreated the problem so far. Userenv sounds like it's connected to DNS though, so it still may show up.

In the meantime, thanks for the help!!
