System Running After Scandisk

    Hi everybody,

    Im using Dell note book D500 and WinXP Pro is installed.

    Almost everyday im facing problem that when turn on my system it takes time to reach at logon window and after login it seems like hanged and not coming to desktop, after this situation i have turn off the system and boot in safe mode and to run scandisk with check "Scan for and attempt...... ", when i restart my system and scandisk is complete my system runing smoothly and whole day its working fine but next day or after two days the same situation out there.........any help???????

    Spyware or a virus (or both) can do that.

    Are you using any anti-spyware utilities to keep things clean? If not, there are several good (and free) ones in quicklinks in my signature.

    What anti-virus program are you using, if any?
