System Restore Malfunction

    System Restore is active,has enough disc space,numerous restore points & allows creation of a new restore point. However,when I attempt a restoration, it goes thru the motions (creates a restoration file, shuts down windows & restarts) but ends with "Restoration Incomplete, Unable to Restore to...Point. Result is the same for any Restore Point. Previously, worked 100%. Thanks.
