I need to change the name showing under the General Tab in System Properties. The name I am referring to is the Register To Name. I thought I found the answer to this problem in the Computer Management folder, but when I click on properties on the Computer Management I get a message telling me that the service failed to start. Don't really know if I could have change the name here or not? Can anyone help me with this problem?

Thanks Maggie. I also found the Registry hack and went ahead and changed the name.

    - Go to Start - Run.
    - Type regedit and locate the following key in the Registry editor.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

    - On the right hand side look for the keys RegisteredOwner and
    RegisteredOrganization.
    - Highlight one by one and right click to select modify. In the value
data field, enter the appropriate name and click ok
