system/kernal/mode/trap

I am having trouble when on line I keep getting a blue screen stating system/kernal/mode/trap then i get shut down and restarted.i tryed searching for an answer but came up with nothing. thank you.

 

Do two things.

Go to control panel Add/remove find IE entry click change remove. It will give the option to backup to former version (don't do that) or repair internet explorer. Chose repair.

Reboot if it prompts then

Put 2K install CD in CD and go to run command and type

sfc /scannow

After reboot retest for problem. Should be gone. If not get back to us.
