system frrreeeezzzzeee

When I try to move files across from my pc to my laptop via my wireless connection my pc freezes the other wy is OK....any ideas

• Could you try to be a little more descriptive.
• What are the operating systems of the two computers?
• What types and sizes are the file systems?
• are you doing anything else while the files attempt the copy?
• Is the Freeze actually a Locked system requiring a hard-boot or do you somehow cancel the action and resume?
• Is the PC hard-wired to a wireless Router and the Laptop using a wireless access card?
• What type of hardware are you using...Old stuff, new stuff...etc.
• Did this just all of sudden start happening, or has it always done this?
• If windows 200/XP are there any messages in event viewer?
• What do you do to un-freeze it.
• Which box freezes?

Truly...I could go on. The point I am trying to make is draw me a picture of what's happening, so we can try to see what your seeing (figuratively speaking)
