Does anyone know how this(syncKeyState.dll) is tied into the windows XP Home (version 2002) operating system?
It certainly isn't external and the file itself doesn't exist but i do believe it is tied into the Windows Core or even more likely a Windows Service and i was hoping someone here knew exactly what service it was tied to.
Thanx in advance for any help. :)

    eug1404 - Welcome to the Board :)

What is the background to your question? - Google shows no hits for syncKeyState.dll and the file does not exist in Win XP.

    ...

Exactly the conclusions i came too. Im having a problem with a program(complaining about a missing component: SyncKeyState.dll) and i have been assured by the developer that thier program does not in any way reference a SyncKeyState.dll, which leads me to believe it is in someway linked to windows. So that's the whole story :) . Thanx for any help in advance.

Well I'm flummoxed - a search of Microsoft.com also brought up no hits.

The only suggestion I can make is to reload the troublesome program - maybe the 'developer 'forgot' the referencing to that *.dll - unlikely, but possible I guess.

As there is no apparent reference to that *.dll on the Internet it is unlikely to be a spyware, etc.

'Fraid you'll have to wait and see if anybody else chips in on this one.
