Sygate Firewall

I recently changed from Comodo firewall to Sygate 5.6. I'm pleased with the quiet functioning of my new firewall - except for one thing. About twice a week it suddenly closes down after a small window pops up telling me that the firewall has encountered a problem. The Sygate forum has closed down since Norton aquired Sygate so I can't pursue the matter there. Would anyone have any idea as to why this might be happening? Thank you.

 

By the way, I've just installed the Kerio 2.1.5 firewall (disabling the Sygate one) to see how that old one performs. I'd prefer, however, to use the more modern Sygate if only that problem mentioned above was resolved.
